Presenting the Game of Trees Hub project, a Git repository hosting site funded via an open collective.
I will present my ideas and plans for the Game of Trees Hub project. At present this project is still in early draft-state. The project was initially announced in June 2024 and managed to attract some interest. No publicly visible progress has been made since then. I will discuss what has been going on since June, present the envisioned design and operation of the service, explain when and how the wider *BSD community could get involved, and discuss open questions.
Software developer with contributions to Apache Subversion, OpenBSD, Osmocom, Software Heritage, and others. Born in West-Berlin, grew up there with several diversions to Ireland and Scotland. Freelancing IT consultant since 2015. Now settled with family in Brussels. Founded software consultancy Chirpy Software SRL in Brussels in 2024.
